Frederickton to Eungai

Completed

The Australian and NSW governments jointly funded the $675 million project. The project provides about 27 kilometre highway upgrade from Frederickton interchange to Eungai Rail and opened to traffic in May 2016.

Project Overview

The Frederickton to Eungai section's major challenge was building across the long sections of the Collombatti floodplains.

Some of the key features of this section of highway upgrade are the interchange at Stuarts Point Road and new rest areas at Clybucca. The new interchange provides safer access on and off the highway and improved access to local communities.

The highway upgrade opened to traffic in May 2016.
