Acid sulphate soil

Acid sulphate soils typically occur in low lying coastal areas and require careful management to ensure acid water leaching from these soils do not make their way to adjacent waterways. Soil testing is undertaken prior to construction commencing to confirm location of acid sulfate soils and detailed management plans prepared and implemented.
